- Monitor and interpret patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen levels, and other relevant data.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Perform diagnostic tests and procedures, such as EKGs and blood draws.
- Educate patients and their families on their condition and treatment plan.
- Document all patient care activities and communicate any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Monitor and maintain patient safety and follow infection control protocols.
- Respond to emergencies and manage critical situations, such as cardiac or respiratory arrest.
- Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Telemetry Nurse.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
