    All positions require that the applicant be a resident of Wyandotte county or willing to relocate within (12) months from the date of hire.

    Job Description:


    This position would serve as a subject matter expert on Workday Absence, HCM, Recruiting, LMS (Learning Management System) and Compensation including configuration of business processes, absence plan configuration/management and compensation analysis.

    Manage and maintain configuration of employee time off plans and leave types for 13 bargaining unions to include yearly and monthly accruals, year end and separation payouts, balance transfers, employee leave status and leave entitlements.

    Research and resolve day-to-day Workday Absence Management issues to assist in weekly payroll processing.

    Serve as a liaison when working with cross-functional business teams to translate business needs to effective design recommendations and system configuration.

    Continuous research into Workday applications' functionality and features that could be implemented to meet business requirements.

    Provide application support such as incident triage, respond to customer escalations, scenario re-creation and document findings; Perform routine reporting requests and ad hoc reporting needs for absence plans and accrual management.

    Assists with job analysis and reviews grade assignment including FLSA status, titles and base pay ranges by conducting compensation benchmarking through internal and external market reviews.

    Assist with Workday to manage setup, maintenance, and processing compensation changes as necessary; assists with LMS as needed to include creating courses and campaigns and performing other general HR administration activities as needed or assigned.

    Qualifications


    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field and three years of Human Resources experience in a related discipline or any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.

    Ability to multi-task and maintain confidentiality. Knowledge of computer-based applications (Workday and Microsoft Office products). Proficient in Microsoft Excel and performance of data, analytics; Knowledge of Federal, State and local labor laws.

    Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing or, Professional certification through HRCI and/or SHRM a plus.

    Familiarity with Workday HCM or other similar HRIS systems a plus.

    Knowledge of Workday creation and validating EIBs or using other Mass Operation type of Workday Administrator Tasks, building calculated fields and custom reports preferred.


    Salary Range:
    $27.53-$36.82/hr.
