This job opening is for a Medical Assistant position at Samaritan Health Services. Join the Primary Care teams and be part of a healthcare system that provides comprehensive medical care for patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting practitioners with various procedures, prescription orders, maintaining patient records, and communicating test results.

• Experience/Education/Qualifications:
• Must be a registered or certified Medical Assistant (RMA or CMA).
• Healthcare Provider AHA BLS certification is required.
• Prior experience in a medical back office or completion of a Medical Assistant program is preferred.
• Specialty area experience and lab/EKG experience are a plus.
• Experience in pediatrics is desirable.

• Shifts: Day shifts with no weekends.
• State License Details: Active license required.
• Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year.
• Minimum Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week.
• Specialty Type: Nursing.
• Sub Specialty: Medical Assistant.
• General Certifications: BLS/BCLS.
• Bilingual: Not required.
• EMR Used: EPIC.
• Holiday Coverage Required.
