What are you working toward?
Based on your work ethic, development and dedication to your role, with support from your local branch and job-site leadership, you will develop and strengthen your skill sets We are seeking ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Sheetmetal Mechanics to become part of our team Your responsibilities will include:

1. Ability to comprehend instructions, drawings, and general correspondence.
2. Understand the operation of fabricating machines such as shears, brakes, presses, forming rolls and routers.
3. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Must understand the US customary and metric measurement systems.
4. Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, sketches, and specifications.

Requirements for this role include:

1. Candidates must have at least 5 years of construction, sheet metal or shipyard experience.
2. Strong experience operating lathes, mills, press brakes, etc.
3. Must be willing and able to work as a team.
4. Candidates will be required to get DBIDS.

Shipyard or marine experience a big plus.
