    Summary:

    The SeniorHealthcare Financial Analyst role is primarily to support the Director of Financeand CFO regarding reporting and budgeting Revenue Cycle results for the Clinic.This individual will be reconciling the information from the Business Officeand the information from the Operations team to understand what is happeningand recommend options for improvement. Support the Operations teams and other departmentheads in developing both operational and capital budgets and working with themto improve their processes. Also, the Healthcare Business Analyst will assistin developing financial and strategic plans for the organization and work todevelop possible solutions to improve income and manage expenses.

    Principal Responsibilities:

    1. Will participate and maintain a culture withinThe Corvallis Clinic that is consistent with the content outlined in theService and Behavioral Standards document. To this end, employee will beexpected to read, have familiarity, and embrace the principles containedwithin.

    2. Helps to formulate long term financial and strategicplans.

    3. Works with department heads to build theirannual budgets and forecasts.

    4. Reviews and prepares journal entries andfacilitates other accounting functions as needed.

    5. Acquires data from primary and secondarysources and maintain data bases / data systems.

    6. Analyzes financial and operational results tobetter understand company performance.

    7. Utilizes BI tools to deliver meaningfulinsights into business performance.

    8. Provides detailed analysis and commentary ondepartmental results.

    9. Prepares business cases to support newinvestment, strategic and other business decisions.

    10. Reviews existing processes and procedures todevelop recommendations for improvement efforts.

    11. Evaluates previous budgets, expenditures todevelop and implement future budgets.

    12. Communicates results and recommendations forimprovements that will lead to cost reduction, revenue generation andstreamlining operations.

    13. Provides insights around financial modeling, forecasts,and profitability.

    14. Supports data collection, analysis, andevaluation of business metrics to drive process improvement and ensure businesssuccess.

    15. Participates in all phases of the RevenueCycle for the Clinic.

    16. Works collaboratively with all groups withinThe Corvallis Clinic.

    17. Performs additional tasks and take onadditional duties as assigned or needed.

    Education,Licensure and Experience:

    1. High school diploma or equivalent required.

    2. A combination of educationand experience are required:

    a. Bachelor's degree and minimum three - five (3-5) years'experience in business administration, finance, accounting, healthcare analystrole with complex financial modeling, forecasting, and data analytics.

    or

    b. Master ofBusiness Administration degree and two - four (2-4) years' experience in businessadministration, finance, accounting, healthcare analyst role with complexfinancial modeling, forecasting, and data analytics.

    Knowledgeand Skills:

    1. Experience with analytical modeling andaccounting.

    2. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, standards,and techniques, as well as calculating budgets, cost analysis and reduction

    3. Significant analytical skillset, including theutilization of BI and reporting tools.

    4. Ability to solve complex problems and exhibitscritical thinking.

    5. Excellent communication skills with ability tobuild relationships, be flexible and thrive in a team environment.

    6. Ability to communicate with all levels ofmanagement and providers required.

    7. Knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 coding, RVU's andcontract analysis

    8. Advanced computer software skills, includingwriting macros in Excel and other accounting packages considered a plus.

    9. Self-motivated and strong initiative

    10. Strong organizational skills and ability tomulti-task.
