    Responsibilities


    Primary position responsibilities:
    Occasional day travel locally within 15 mile radius between locations
    Check temperatures and pressures on machinery for proper function.
    Completes the daily check off list to include readings on equipment.
    Keeps fire equipment, extinguisher and sprinkler systems ready for use.
    Is familiar with city, state and Federal regulations, pertaining to hospital standards.
    Performs daily, weekly, monthly, bi-monthly and annual preventive maintenance activities.
    Performs work order repairs as assigned.
    Maintains all entrances, driveways, parking areas and exits clear of debris.

    Secondary position responsibilities:
    Checks fire alarm boxes, replaces burned out exit lights.
    Cleans vents, exit lights and air ducts.
    Performs other duties as assigned/appropriate

    Qualifications

    Minimum of three years experience in working in building or mechanical field.
    Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and general maintenance.
    Ability to read and understand blue prints, mechanical drawings and factory specification sheets.
