    Proficient in handling large data sets and skilled in data mining techniques, with advanced capabilities in Excel and report writing.

    Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, works with a sense of urgency, and exhibits proactive initiative to efficiently manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

    A critical thinker with the ability to thoroughly analyze financial performance, providing insightful narrative analysis to drive decision-making.

    Possesses strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, adept at articulating reporting requirements clearly, and leveraging expertise to support informed decision-making processes.


    Key Responsibilities:


    Deliver detailed, timely, and precise analysis during month-end and quarter close reviews, comparing results against budget, forecast, and prior year performance.

    Expertly assess and analyze the impact of foreign currency fluctuations and translation effects on financial outcomes.
    Prepare and furnish monthly financial statements and reporting packages to ensure transparency and accountability.
    Conduct thorough variance analysis, identifying and communicating key issues and trends to facilitate informed decision-making.

    Collaborate with regional teams and management companies to analyze and report accurate forecasts, fostering alignment and synergy across the organization.

    Undertake special projects and analytical tasks as assigned, showcasing adaptability and a solution-oriented mindset.

    Act as a point of contact for subsidiary and regional inquiries regarding US GAAP compliance and company policies, demonstrating expertise and responsiveness.

    Provide support during year-end audits for international subsidiaries and regional offices, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.

    Partner with the IT department to stay abreast of reporting software updates and developments, contributing to system upgrades and enhancements for improved financial reporting.

    Drive process efficiency and performance improvements through the execution of special projects, demonstrating a commitment to continuous enhancement.
    Address reporting and training needs for regions and subsidiaries, promoting knowledge transfer and skill development.
    Propose innovative solutions for process improvement in system applications, fostering a culture of innovation and optimization.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA or CPA certification considered advantageous.

    4-6 years of progressive experience in Finance or Accounting, with a preference for at least 3 years in a Financial Analyst role within a multinational corporation.

    Proficiency in US GAAP standards and a solid understanding of Foreign Currency Translations.
    Demonstrated mastery of Excel, leveraging advanced functions and data manipulation techniques.
    Outstanding organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, essential for effective collaboration and decision-making.
    Proven ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks, leveraging strong analytical skills to drive results.
    Self-starter capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision and thriving in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.
    Familiarity with financial systems such as Workday Financials, Adaptive, and CargoWise One is preferred.
    Experience in mergers and acquisitions considered a valuable asset, demonstrating a breadth of financial acumen and strategic insight.
