Seeking a BC/BE AnesthesiologistJoin an employed group consisting of 11 physicians and 20+ CRNA's that provide coverage at the Medical Center, a 260-bed acute care facility in State College, PA
1 Hospital:
Mount Nittany Medical Center12 total OR's and an off-site Surgery Center with 4 OR's.1 OB Suite4 Endo/GI Suites11 FT Anesthesiologists and 20+ CRNA'sCall is approx.
every 6 -7 days (Mix of first call and back up call)CRNA Medical Direction ModelMajor Service lines include:
General, GU, OB, Spine, ENT, GYN, Plastic, Ortho, VascularLow Peds volumeNo Open-Heart Surgery and No Heads

W2: $510-540k + benefits and a $20k annual quality bonus
PTO:

CME:
1 weekCME allowance $3,500 annuallySign-on bonus: $40k over 3 yearsQualification:Medical Doctor Degree (University-affiliated medical school preferred).Resident training in university-affiliated hospital preferred.
Current Pennsylvania medical license. Current DEA registration.ABA Board-certification and pain fellowship requiredPast medical licensure has never been challenged, suspended or revoked. Hospital privileges have never been revoked at any hospital. No past convictions for fraud, narcotics, or any felony offense.
Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for prolonged periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Requires normal visual acuity and hearing. Requires exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids. Requires working under stress in emergency situations or during irregular hours.
