- Manage a transit project efficiently.
- Act as Resident Engineer, supervising Office Engineers, Construction Inspectors, and Administrative/Project Personnel.
- Ensure contractor's work complies with schedule, Budget, Technical Specifications, and Legal Requirements.
- Resolve design and field construction issues effectively.
- Participate in progress meetings and provide project updates.
- Facilitate design and field changes promptly.
- Review and handle contractor requests for change orders.
- Collaborate in contract change negotiations.
- Implement safety rules to support a safety-focused environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in managing Large Complex Heavy Civil Engineering projects.
- At least 5 years of supervisory experience in Major Construction Contract management.
- Valid California Class C driver's license.
- State of California Professional Engineering registration or ability to obtain within six months.
- Experience in Transit Projects involving tunnels, underground stations, and track construction.
- Cal-OSHA/OSHA 30-Hr safety certification prior to project commencement.
