Description

Job Title: Technical Asset Manager

Specializing in Powerplant Products (Engines and APU's)

Reports to Director of Technical Services

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support and guidance for the company, particularly in relation to powerplant products.
Perform in-depth analysis of technical data related to commercial aircraft powerplant products and associated systems.
Determine if maintenance checks and overhauls were performed at prescribed intervals and in compliance with regulatory standards.
Prepare specification sheets and mini packs for the sale of powerplant products.
Review cost and schedule estimates from third-party maintenance organizations.
Support design, repair development, and repair sourcing activities for powerplant products.
Evaluate Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins to support pre- and post-buy activities.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree, diploma, or FAA Airframe & Powerplant license, or equivalent field experience.
5+ years of experience in performing powerplant product technical management.
Strong generalist knowledge in commercial aircraft technical management.
Specialized knowledge of back-to-birth trace for all life-limited parts.
Working expertise with FAA regulations, ATA standards, and EASA regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with the Quantum ERP system.
Experience working with outside investors and consignors to perform asset evaluations.
Ability to leverage technology to enhance work processes.

Work Environment:

The noise level is usually low, as consistent with an office environment. At times, some lifting may be required, up to 50 lbs to sort and move record containers.
