Supply Chain Manager
We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our growing team.
This full-time position will be responsible for managing all aspects of the organization's supply chain management and procurement operations, including, vendor relations, , logistics, and distribution at two facilities in Jacksonville FL.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee and seek to improve all aspects of the supply chain strategy by reviewing current methodology and processes
Assist logistics process for the development of new products, inventory maintenance, manufacturing, shipment and delivery, and returns on products
Plan and implement forecast projections to drive production and inventory planning goals
Review proposals, negotiate prices, select or recommend suppliers, analyze trends, follow up on orders placed, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain necessary records.
May prepare bid packagesGenerate reports and develop presentations to help management understand the logistics perspective
Track KPIs and generate reports for supply chain performance
Organize and oversee safety stock levels to align with current and future production.
Research and seek out the most cost-efficient shipment procedures and methods
Collaborate with other departments to create effective databases to manage and organize inventory[SW1]
Build and maintain a relationship with vendors while promoting company initiatives and values
Train and evaluate other members of the Supply Chain team
Oversee specific commodity ownership across IEM and assist other operations when required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in logistics, business analytics, mathematics, or other relevant field
5+ years of experience in supply chain operations
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, relational databases, and ERP systems (Infor experience is a plus)
Purchasing experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment highly preferred
Exceptional communication and organizational skills
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Knowledge of raw materials, production, processes, quality controls and costs
Understand and use techniques for effective control of delivered quality, cost, and schedule.
Ability to work in and with an ERP/MRP system
Excellent computer skills including a high degree of skill in Excel
Demonstrated problem solving, quantitative analysis, and analytical abilities
Proactive communicator who can clearly articulate business results and department needs across all levels of the organization
Team player with a proactive, positive attitude, and a strong sense of self-motivations, accountability, and responsibility
Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
Familiarity with
manufacturing/processing
environment preferred
