- Provide spiritual services and guidance while respecting people's unique experiences
- Create and open and inviting environment, reflecting diverse life experiences, free of judgment
- Counsel distressed and bereaved individuals and families while providing helpful strategies for understanding and healing
- Provide spiritual guidance to patients and family members of the patient when a disabling injury or death occurs
- Conducting and assisting at funerals as needed
- Experience in direct ministry and counseling; roles as a family pastor is a plus
- Experience in hospice care or working in a clinic or hospital with those experiencing illness or disability
- Two years of pastoral staff experience
- Bachelor's Degree (or greater) of Clinical Pastoral Education approved by the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (or approved equivalent approved by SCV
