    Job Description:


    As a Data Services, Compliance & Operations Chapter Leader, you blend deep Data & Engineering expertise with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing associates.

    You are deeply committed to improving the value delivered to our customers.

    In an agile structure you will collaborate with other leaders to establish the standards for your chapter, influence the strategic decisions and build solutions in your expertise.

    You will directly lead a team of chapter members who work within autonomous squads across but report directly to you.

    You are committed to helping them grow and develop in their knowledge area and ensure alignment on the "how" of the work they perform.

    You are comfortable with supporting your team by being hands on when you need to be but primarily focus on enabling and supporting your team in blazing their own trail.

    You are committed to developing your own expertise and knowledge to bring the latest thinking to your role.
    This position can be located in Raleigh, Boston, or Merrimack.

    The Expertise and Skills You Bring

    Minimum of 10 years of Data Engineering and Development experience
    BS degree in Computer Science or related software engineering field or equivalent experience
    Proven successful experience as an engineering coach and mentor as well as developing emerging leaders to their full potential
    Strong technical proficiency with data technologies including structured and unstructured data, databases like Oracle and Snowflake, data movement including batch and messaging, RESTful APIs
    Familiarity with new and emerging trends as it relates to engineering, data platforms, and similar technologies
    An advocate of software engineering as a craft
    Experience planning development of team capabilities; identifying and acquiring strategic talent needs
    Experience resource planning and talent allocation across large organizations
    Financial services experience in Asset Management preferred

    This Chapter is focused on Data as a primary competency however we work on a wide variety of technologies including AWS, Oracle, Snowflake, Python, REST/API, Kafka, and others.
