    About this position

    We are looking for an analytical, problem-solver and proactive professional in data science or business analytics, to be part of the operative team of CAN department.

    As a data analytics consultant, you will work with the operative team and will contribute to promoting the implementation of the division's operative strategy.

    You will provide advice in data related matters and generate analytical products.
    What you'll do

    :

    Develop and modify queries in Power Query and DAX to support standard and ad- hoc reporting.
    Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards in support to CAN operative strategy.
    Create and maintain datasets in Power BI Data Flow.
    Analyze different data sources and design programs for extraction, transformation and loading into a centralized database.
    Evaluate the impact, challenges, and risks of changes to existing dashboards or creation of new ones.
    Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns.
    Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data.
    Support advanced analytical studies by building predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
    Develop analytical technical notes using public operative data.
    What you'll need
    Education:

    Master's degree or equivalent in economics, business administration, data science, or related field.
    Experience:

    At least five years of relevant professional experience in Data Science or Business Analytics. Proven experience with Power BI, SQL, and Python. Understanding of machine-learning and data mining techniques.
    Languages:

    Proficiency in Spanish and English, spoken and written, is required. Additional knowledge of French and Portuguese is preferable.
