    LPN Position at UK Good Samaritan Hospital

    • Required License/Registration/Certification

    Are you a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with Kentucky Licensure looking for a rewarding opportunity in the medical surgical unit at UK Good Samaritan Hospital? If so, keep on reading!

    • Physical Requirements: Requires handling of average weights or objects up to 25 pounds with some sitting, standing, or walking.
    • Shift: Must be able to work three, 12-hour shifts per week from 7pm until 7:30am; will also be required to work some weekends and holidays.
    • Job Summary: LPNs at 5 Main Medical Surgical unit provide care to adults with various medical surgical needs including diabetes, endocrine disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, wound care, and pre/post-surgical cases following the Kentucky Board of Nursing guidelines.
    • Responsibilities: Providing comprehensive care, direct patient care, ensuring patient satisfaction, delegating duties, adhering to policies, and fostering collaboration among the nursing staff and physicians.
