Job summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Fire Alarm Technician to inspect,test and service fire alarm systems,clean agent and CO2 systems,and other related equipment.This position is focused on testing fire alarm systems and generating inspection reports in accordance to NFPA 72,resolving and/or troubleshooting problems in a timely,to be available for pre-scheduled on-call or after-hour emergencies.
The hourly pay range for this position is $45.000 depending on education,skills and previous experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform visual and functional testing of fire alarm panels,devicesand all applicable appliancesin accordance to NFPA 70and72.
- Coodinate servicing or repairs with direct supervisor.
- Determine appropriate actionand communicate the current situationto the department manageror field supervisorincluding the source cause,resulting trouble conditions,recommended repairs estimated timeframefor repairs appropriate cost informationand anticipated outcome.
