An opportunity to work with a multigenerational and otherwise diverse Labor and Employment Practice Group of a midsize firm widely considered to be a "go to" firm representing management of mid-to-large market businesses across a variety of industries. The group is busy, growing strategically and now adding to their already solid team, seeking an Associate with 2 to 5 years of measurable experience in management side labor and employment matters.

The ideal candidate will have trial experience in employment discrimination, wage and hour matters, harassment retaliation defense and contract disputes in both federal and state courts. Superior drafting abilities, producing top tier work product, required. Strong oral and written presentation abilities are also required. Experience with management side advice and counsel matters including compliance related issues, trainings, policies, employee contracts and restrictive covenants is required.

Big Law or busy midsize firm experience is preferred. Strong communication skills for client interaction and trial appearances are required. The firm and this group are seeking an individual interested in building subject matter expertise with broad based practice exposure, less siloed work and more client facing interactions.

Bachelor's Degree and JD, with NY Bar admission (in good standing) required. Compensation includes a salary of 180K-220K+, solid benefits and attainable, manageable hours based bonus.
