    Overview:

    We're seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Specialist to join our team at Select Medical. As a key member of our outpatient physical therapy center in Pensacola, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care experiences.

    You'll be the first point of contact for patients as they arrive at our center, and your attention to detail will make all the difference in their visit. Your responsibilities will include greeting and registering patients, scheduling appointments, communicating with insurance companies and other stakeholders, and ensuring seamless operations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Greet and register patients, providing clear information about their visit and next appointment
    • Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone, ensuring efficient use of time
    • Establish and maintain effective relationships with external partners, including attorney offices, insurance companies, and translation services
    • Manage co-pays from patients, obtain payer approvals, and verify insurance coverage

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • 1 year of front desk experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
