    The Catering & Events Manager is responsible for developing private events systems, planning and executing special events, and managing events marketing for Momofukus New York City locations. The responsibilities include but are not limited to streamlining the restaurants private event processes, working alongside the restaurant and operations teams to create private event offerings, executing VIP and special events, and developing relationships with private event/catering clients.

    **Responsibilities**

    Develop and streamline restaurant private events and catering programs and systems with restaurant GMs and Chefs

    Manage relationships with private event clientele & businesses to promote Momofukus private event programs across all restaurants in New York City

    Lead and execute public and private Momofuku virtual cooking classes

    Plan, coordinate, and execute VIP private events and brand events (fielding inquiries, site visits and client meetings, developing proposals and negotiating contracts)

    Serve as the main point of contact between outside special event partners and restaurant teams

    In conjunction with the restaurant and Brand teams, execute outward facing private event-specific materials (website, printed materials, menus, social media)

    With the Director of FOH Restaurant Operations and restaurant teams, define monthly and quarterly catering/event sales goals; communicate and evaluate progress against these goals

    **Skills & Requirements**

    BA degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required

    3+ years of related experience

    Detail oriented self starter with outstanding organizational skills

    Restaurant and offsite catering experience strongly preferred

    Ability to work independently and to handle multiple priorities & activities

    Tripleseat and Google Workspace proficiency.

    **Physical Demands**

    The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 5 to 10 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.
