Summary:
The System Analyst reports to the Director of Customer Management Systems in Information Technology.
You will provide support to all internal departments of Point Broadband regarding the systems that manage our customer relations, billing, and service activations.
You will learn and develop the skills necessary to serve our internal customers so they can better serve our corporate telecommunications customers and the communities that we serve.
The position is full-time.Duties and Responsibilities:
Understand the functionality, data structure, and capabilities of our corporate systems and how they interrelate.
Work together with our third-party software and support vendors to resolve issues and meet the evolving needs of the company.
Implement system requirements by defining and analyzing problems and designing, testing, and applying solutions.
Develop and control solutions by establishing specifications, preparing, and evaluating alternative workflow solutions, and providing reference with documentation.
Validate results by testing system functionality, software upgrades, data migrations, and policy, procedure, and regulatory system changes.
Ensure data quality and consistency across the corporate systems and conduct training of internal teams and provide software support.
Accomplish information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in applicable area or equivalent work experience is required.
Above average understanding of databases, querying, and reporting; system; vendor, incident, testing, and project management.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate effectively in both speech and documentation, and the ability to be accountable to our internal customers with strong problem-solving skills.
Knowledge and experience with customizing Microsoft Dynamics CRM/365.
Previous experience of CHR Omnia360, PowerCode, and Sonar a plus.
Previous experience with Restful APIs, development, and JavaScript a plus.
Telecommunications experience a plus.
