    Are you an Internist in search of a fulfilling faculty position?

    Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist and the Wake Forest University School of Medicine are accepting applications for an Internal Medicine Generalist.

    We are seeking a Physician to join the University Internal Medicine Country Club (UIM) ambulatory practice in Winston Salem, North Carolina.

    This role involves academic practice with a faculty appointment to the Department of Internal Medicine, Section of General Internal Medicine.

    We also welcome Family Medicine trained physicians interested in treating ages 18+.

    Conveniently located in Winston Salem, North Carolina, the practice site is only 10 minutes away from the main medical center campus, ensuring easy access for patients, providers, and staff.


    Clinical Focus:
    This is a full-time clinical position with a commitment to 8 clinical and 2 nonclinical sessions per week. Flexible options available for part-time positions or mixed academic roles.
    While primarily a clinical position, there are diverse professional opportunities, including teaching, clinical research, and administrative roles.

    Limited weeks of outpatient call shared within the entire section of General Internal Medicine, supported by a triage nurse answering service.

    A well-functioning practice highly sought after by patients, including medical center employees and faculty members, consistently achieving high patient satisfaction scores.
