The main responsibility of a coach is to motivate an individual or an entire team.
Coaches are focused on improving the performance and skills of athletes by conducting training sessions, coordinating practice drills, and providing guidance.
Analyze the strengths and weaknesses of individual athletes and opposing teams.Plan strategies and choose team members for each competition.
Direct, encourage, and motivate athletes to prepare them for competitions.
Attends tryouts, practices, games, competitions, and cheer camp. Assesses skills and assigns team positions.
With the Athletic Director, maintains a regular practice schedule and organizes practice time to provide both individual and team development.

SEASONAL ONLY POSITION
In order to be considered for this position, applicant must currently possess a valid athletic coaching certificate or a valid teaching certificate issued by the Florida Department of Education.
This position is for the school year.
