- Assist in maintaining ISO 9001 QMS records, system, and document control.
- Assist with periodic ISO department audits.
- Maintain gage calibration activities.
- Issue and follow up on Quality Alerts for Quality issues.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards for in-process Quality (i.e. cosmetics, etc.)
- Partner with R&D to write Quality Plans for new products.
- Issue in-process audit reports and contribute to corrective action/continuous improvement.
- Create work instructions as needed.
- Support process capability studies, statistical process control charts, and pareto analysis of in-process and final inspection results.
- Prepare and carry out scrap reduction evaluations.
- Serve as a back-up for final inspectors.
- Perform other duties as assigned or as dictated by position responsibilities.
- Familiarity with GD&T, blueprint reading, and dimensional inspections.
- 2+ years of experience in quality inspection, quality assurance, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to move, lift, transport items at minimum of 20 lbs.
- Must be able to consistently operate a computer/office productivity machinery i.e., calculator, copy machine, printer for a minimum of 6 hours per day.
- Must be able to remain stationary for a minimum of 2 hours per day.
- Must be able to detect and correct errors on paper/screens.
- Must be able to communicate and exchange information with other members of the organization verbally, nonverbally, and in writing.
- Must be able to move throughout the facility and office area to access file cabinets, office equipment, plant machinery, and other office areas as needed.
