    Responsibilities

    GENERAL PURPOSE:


    Directs and coordinates all aspects of multi-center international clinical research trials to develop outcome measures independently and acts as a liaison to study leadership and sponsor(s).

    Individual ensures study activities are meeting deadlines and manages overall study timelines.

    Provides oversight and mentoring to more junior staff on the study team in addition to managing staff in a supervisory capacity.


    RESPONSIBILITIES:


    Independently directs the development and execution of clinical trial activities for clinical research projects to develop outcome measures, including developing and revising study timelines.

    Engages with Finance for budget development and budget management.
    Mentors, trains and manages more junior Human Research Specialists as part of a project team.

    In addition, manages other Human Research Specialists in a managerial capacity, including developing career plans and delivering performance appraisals. Collaborates and coordinates with Finance team to reconcile project teams' time and effort with all funding streams.
    Leads internal and external meetings and provides professional direction within clinical trials coordination team. Monitors progress toward meeting team goals and completing action items.

    Serves as liaison to the Principal Investigator, study leadership, vendors and sponsor Reviews study progress, including data, finances, documentation and reporting deliverables.

    Designs, develops, implements, monitors and manages systems and procedures for the purpose of tracking study progression.
    Represents study team in meetings.
    Directs inquiries for new studies, drafts project proposal and proposed study protocol, schedule of activities, and budget creation. Research and initiate grant and Independent Investigator Study opportunities. Draft grant and application submissions and supervise and assure timely completion of grant report deliverables.

    Develops content for instrument marketing materials, facilitates translation of instruments into other languages, and serves as liaison for processing of licensure requests.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    Bachelor's degree, with major course works in appropriate health, social science, or biological science field required.
    Master's degree, with major course works in appropriate health, social science, or biological science field preferred.
    Minimum of 6 years of experience with clinical trials required.
    or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
    Previous personnel management experience required.
    Clinical trials project management experience including extensive knowledge of protocol planning, implementation, coordination, evaluation, and reporting of clinical trials. Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, attention to detail and organization required.
    CCRP - Certified Clinical Research Professional upon hire preferred
    Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI upon hire preferred.

    Pay Range

    Pay Range:
    $75,650 - $113,464 Annually
    The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job.

    Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
