Job DescriptionWe are looking for experienced Finish Carpenters to work on a variety of projects, focusing on trim, molding, and general carpentry tasks.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent craftsmanship skills, and the ability to complete projects efficiently and to the highest standards.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Trim and Molding Installation:
Measure, cut, and install various types of trim, crown molding, baseboards, and other decorative elements to enhance the aesthetic appeal of interior spaces.
Cabinet Installation:
Skillfully install cabinets, vanities, and built-in furniture with precision, ensuring a seamless fit and finish.
Door and Window Installation:
Install doors, windows, and hardware, ensuring proper alignment, functionality, and a polished appearance.
Custom Carpentry:
Execute custom carpentry projects, including designing and building unique features such as bookshelves, wainscoting, and coffered ceilings.
Surface Preparation:
Prepare surfaces for finishing work, including sanding, filling, and smoothing, to ensure a flawless foundation for paint or stain.
Material Selection:
Collaborate with project managers and clients to select appropriate materials and finishes that align with design specifications and budget constraints.
Quality Control:
Conduct thorough inspections to ensure the highest quality workmanship, addressing any defects or issues promptly.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to create a secure work environment for yourself and others.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Finish Carpenter with a strong portfolio showcasing completed projects.
In-depth knowledge of various carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and quality.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
