Job Title

Burrow Global is seeking a Process Safety Relief Design Engineer for a 6-month assignment in Freeport, Texas. This role provides process technical expertise on Relief Design to ensure that the client's plants are compliant with relief design standards and codes.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure documentation completeness, including compliance with standards and codes, explanation of assumptions, and thorough documentation.
Provide missing data for documentation forms.
Audit installed systems to assure adherence to design.
Comply with organization guidelines and practices.
Enforce consistency across designs.

Requirements

Expertise in overpressure protection system design.
Thorough knowledge of API 521, API-2000, and API-520.
Ability to perform Scenario Analysis for Relief Design.

About the Role

This position will support the Freeport sites by bringing special process safety engineering expertise. The successful candidate will promote consistency, accuracy, and record retention for relief valve specification and sizing.

Good planning, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential for this role. The candidate will work closely with the Plant and Technology Center to complete thorough Scenario Analysis evaluations.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of our processes, chemistry, and materials of construction required for properly designed relief valves.

Salary Range

$90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
