Representing a growing MEP & Fire Protection firm, we are searching for a Senior Mechanical Engineer, to join their team.

Office is located in western Suffolk Countyeasy commute; close to major highways.
As Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for completing detailed engineering calculations, designing HVAC systems, etc.


Responsibilities may include:
Reviewing and analyzing architectural & engineering plans Performing engineering calculations to support HVAC system designHeating & cooling load calculationsStatic pressure calculationsHydraulic head pressure calculationsETCDesign, size & layout ductwork & piping distribution systemsSize & select HVAC equipment to support overall designPerform site surveysAttend meetings with architects, contractors, owners & building managersOrganize & maintain project recordsSupport construction administration activities by reviewing submittals, shop drawingsPrepare responses to RFI and provide input as neededPerform periodic field visitsOther duties as requiredEducation & Qualifications:8+ years of experience in buildings system designs in commercial, multi-family and/or hospitality areasBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relating field
