MRI Technologist - Cleveland , OH - 13 Weeks Contract

Sigma Healthcare staffing is currently looking for an experienced MRI Tech to work onsite for our contracted facility.

Shift : 7am-7pm, Saturday, Sunday and Monday rotating holidays

Description:

Traveler position is available for a MRI Technologist to provide MRI for routine diagnostic imaging procedures for departments includingoncology, neurosurgery, large ortho practice, multiple clinics (Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Urology, Women' Health, Pediatric, and more) in addition to our 78-bed hospital
The ideal candidate will have experience performing a variety of imaging procedures, comfortable working in a sometime hectic environment, demonstrate a high level of skill, confidence, and autonomy while practicing proper safety techniques and providing high quality films.

Job Requirements:

Explaining the MRI process to patients and ensuring the patients comply with all safety standards.
Positioning, and possibly sedating, patients to capture clear images of the correct area of the body.
Removing and then replacing IVs and catheters for the MRI process.
Maneuvering the MRI equipment and positioning it to capture the correct images.
Monitoring patients during scanning and maintaining patients' records.
Monitoring MRI equipment functions.
Ensuring clear images for Physicians to provide accurate diagnoses.
Recognizing abnormalities and irregularities in images.

Qualifications:

ARRT Certification in corresponding areas.
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association (AHA)
3 year of current experience performing procedures in each of the modalities is required.
12 months minimum experience in MRI imaging.
