Delta Dental of Missouri is seeking an Actuarial Intern in St. Louis, Missouri. This individual will participate in an internship program. Typically, they will be employed part-time hours per week) with an anticipated duration of 6 months. This individual will be involved in actuarial, underwriting, or business analytics projects. Projects may include claim reserving, pricing, underwriting, forecasting, rate or system testing, analysis of provider reimbursement, data analytics, data visualization, or other tasks as assigned.Responsibilities
The intern may be assigned a wide variety of tasks. This will be dependent on department workload and priorities as well as the individual's strengths, skillset and background. Tasks may vary from routine work to complex, multi-step projects.
