    The Sr Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) aligns business objectives with employees and management. In this position, you will have the opportunity to drive actions in support of recruiting, engagement, development, and retention to ensure business goals are achieved and organizational needs are met. In this role you will serve as a consultant to management on Human Resource related issues and advocates for the growth and development of our associates. The HRBP partners with associates across the operating company and functional departments in order to deliver a value-added HR service to management and employees that support the business objectives of the organization. Additionally, the HRBP will serve as a change agent and continue to drive the evolution of our engaged and inclusive culture.


    This remote role will be an integral member of the Beckman Coulter Life Sciences HR team and will operate as a key HR partner for the Commercial and Customer Service organizations while also serving as a resource for cross-OpCo HR projects and initiatives.

    Major Responsibilities
    Responsible for delivering core HR functions and support, including talent management, leadership and associate development, promoting a culture of inclusion and engagement initiatives:

    • Collaboration with leaders to ensure actionable plans are in place to drive sustained team development through competency assessment and development planning with associates.
    • Track relevant global HR metrics (gathering, auditing and analyzing) and summarize into monthly reports for leadership to drive action and execute countermeasures.
    • Partner with the Talent Management team to develop and sustain robust processes to manage all aspects of talent management as a catalyst for OpCo talent strategies (short and long term) and ensure leadership succession plans and talent funnels are built and nurtured to support future business growth.
    • Support the annual Performance for Growth and Development for Growth processes, communications, and systems knowledge. Train new managers on tools and process. Manage performance and objective setting processes, including assisting associates in creating meaningful, action-based objectives and delivering appropriate feedback to drive improvement.
    • • Active partner with Talent Acquisition team to ensure timely placement of qualified and diverse associates while building and maintaining candidate funnels for key business areas.
    • Effectively respond to employee relations issues and conduct sophisticated employee relations investigations and collaborate with managers and legal counsel on outcomes and next steps.
    • Support base and variable pay processes; provide guidance to managers on compensation policies and practices. Provide guidance to managers on job descriptions, job leveling and pay recommendations at the time of hire, promotion/enhancement, and annual cycles.
    • Improve communications and engagement with associates by actively engaging and managing the associate survey data. Develop action plans based on feedback and metrics of the survey data and measure effectiveness of plan execution.
    • • Attend and participate in leadership meetings with shared facilitating responsibility to promote and contribute to the development of plans, governance processes and communication to meet the strategic objectives.
    • Lead and support change management efforts to drive the achievement of business goals.
    • Mentoring leaders through implementation and support of our talent management tools and leadership development programs to develop high performing teams.
    • Apply Danaher Business System (DBS) tools like Kaizens to improve existing processes. Problem solves on those areas which are not reaching expected levels of performance through KPI which may include Participate and/or lead other projects, processes and tasks as needed.


    Required Skills/Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related area; Master's degree preferred
    • 5+ years HR Business Partner / HR Generalist
    • Proven and demonstrated experience in driving the HR function within a fast-paced, regulated environment
    • Must be able to communicate effectively and interact across several cross-functional teams and all levels inside and outside of the organization
    • The need to travel will be low to moderate (up to 30%)

    Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 plus 10% bonus, benefits start day one.
