Are you passionate about providing quality care to the elderly in a supportive and compassionate environment? Do you have experience in coordinating MDS assessments and ensuring regulatory compliance in a long-term care setting? If so, we would love for you to join our team at Strawberry Point Lutheran Home Community.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and complete MDS assessments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to MDS assessments.
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other staff members to develop care plans based on MDS assessments.
- Provide training and education to staff on MDS assessment processes and regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Current license as a RN or LPN in the state of Iowa.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MDS Coordinator in a long-term care facility.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
