    Speech-Language Pathologist- Clinical Supervisor (On-Campus)
    M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology Program
    Albizu University
    Miami Campus


    Responsibilities:
    Oversee and guide graduate students in the MSLP program during their clinical experiences.
    Provide constructive feedback to students on their clinical performance, helping them improve their assessment, intervention, and documentation skills.
    Facilitate regular one-on-one and group supervision sessions to discuss caseloads, client progress, treatment plans, and challenges.
    Assess students' clinical competencies based on established benchmarks and program objectives.

    Ensure that students adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards set forth by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and other relevant organizations.

    Collaborate with students to develop effective and individualized treatment plans for clients with communication disorders.
    Review and provide feedback on students' clinical documentation, including assessment reports, treatment notes, and progress reports.

    Stay current with advances in the field of speech-language pathology through continuing education, research, and professional networking in order to share relevant information and resources with s Participate in regular meetings with program faculty to discuss student progress, curriculum development, and program improvements.

    Required Qualifications:
    Master's or doctoral degree in speech-language pathology.
    Current licensure as a speech-language pathologist (SLP) in the State of Florida and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence
    A minimum of 9 months of clinical experience in speech-language pathology after obtaining the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence.
    Strong knowledge of communication disorders, assessment methods, and intervention techniques in adult language disorders, specifically in the area of Aphasia
    Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills
    Experience mentorship, advising, or clinical supervision
