**Position** : Part time Custodian

**General Purpose:**
Maintain the locations interior in a clean, sanitary, and safe manner. (e.g., office, breakroom, restroom)
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Maintain a safe and clean internal building appearance through good housekeeping, organization, and management of walking surfaces.
+ Follow work schedules to complete all required cleaning and sanitizing, and complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders.
+ Perform custodian duties, such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, picking up debris, emptying trash cans and recycling, and general cleaning; these activities may include using equipment such as floor sweepers, polishers, vacuum cleaners, and dusters.
+ Maintain all restrooms, locker rooms, breakrooms, and footbaths in a sanitary manner; replenish supplies and paper products in break room and restrooms.
+ Maintain inventory of cleaning and other supplies; notify appropriate contact or update supply sheet to re-order supplies.
+ Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
+ Use chemicals to sanitize and clean the facility.
+ Perform related duties as requested by environmental health and safety (EHS), maintenance, management, or other staff members (e.g., help to coordinate and/or prepare for inspections and special events)
+ Distribute personal protective equipment (PPE) when needed.
+ Follow all safety requirements and wear proper PPE.
+ Implement all DFA GMPs and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements. Inform QA personnel of any quality issues.

**Education and Experience**
+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred
+ Janitorial or cleaning experience preferred.
+ Certification and/or License may be required during course of employment.
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
+ Knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing chemicals
+ Able to work safely and follow established policies and procedures.
+ Able to follow directions and carry out instructions with little supervision.
+ Able to legibly write entries for record keeping.
+ Able to perform simple math.
+ Must be able to read, write and speak English.
