Job DescriptionWe are looking for a competent Caregiver to join our team. As a Caregiver, your main responsibility will be to care for our clients in a professional and compassionate manner.
Even though this position can be very demanding, it is often very satisfying and rewarding. If you love helping people, you will also love this job.
We will expect you to be patient and friendly with the clients, and have excellent communication skills.

CNA/Caregiver duties and responsibilities:

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctors appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Help with physical therapy exercises
• Plan and prepare meals
• Do the clients shopping or accompany them to do so
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Be pleasant and supportive
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

CNA/Caregiver requirements and qualifications:

• Proven experience as a caregiver
• Completed CNA course or equivalent
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking
• Adhere to health and safety standards
• Be respectful and compassionate
• Excellent time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong ethics
• Physical endurance
• High school diploma or equivalent
