Description
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is responsible for providing health care services to individuals, families, and groups under the medical group's umbrella. This includes conducting health assessments, prescribing treatments, promoting health, and managing disease prevention. The APP operates under the supervision of an assigned primary care physician and engages in quality assurance activities, teamwork, and resource management responsibly. Additionally, they conduct telehealth visits for the Community Based/Palliative Care program.
Physician's Assistant or Nurse Practitioner experience is preferred. The APP must maintain continuing education credits, prescriptive authority, acquire special clinical competencies, and participate in quality assurance and risk management functions.
