Job Description:

Citywide Elevator Consulting, a leading elevator consulting firm in New York, is looking for exceptional individuals to join our team. If you have the right expertise, attention to detail, organizational skills, customer focus, and a learning mindset, keep reading.

We are on the hunt for a talented Data Analyst/Developer to be part of our dynamic team. This role plays a crucial part in cleaning, managing, and creating custom reports and dashboards that offer valuable insights to our clients. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in Python, SQL, Power Query, and Power BI, and a genuine passion for data-driven decision-making.

Major Duties:

Data Cleaning and Maintenance:

Utilize advanced Python and SQL techniques for efficient data cleaning and structuring.
Ensure data quality and reliability across all platforms and databases.

Custom Reporting:

Use Power Query to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources.
Create comprehensive reports that effectively communicate the data story.

Dashboard Development:

Design and implement dynamic dashboards in Power BI for intuitive and interactive data visualization.
Provide clients with tools to highlight key metrics and trends.

Client Collaboration:

Collaborate closely with clients to understand their reporting needs and goals.
Offer expert advice on leveraging data strategically.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated on the latest data analytics and visualization trends.
Propose and implement enhancements to reporting processes and tools.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proficiency in Python and SQL, with a strong grasp of data manipulation and cleaning.
Experience with Power Query and Power BI for data extraction and reporting.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a dedication to high-quality results.
Effective communication skills for presenting complex data clearly.
Experience working with large datasets and understanding data storage.
Multitasking and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
Strong work ethic, proactive, detail-oriented, and resourceful.
