Overview/ Job Responsibilities Sev1Tech is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Lead to join our team and support our customer's cybersecurity operations
As a Cybersecurity Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cybersecurity policies, conducting risk assessments, managing security incidents, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats.
• Monitor security systems for anomalies and respond to security incidents promptly.
• Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals, providing guidance and support.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the security of networks, systems, and applications.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.
• Evaluate and recommend security tools and technologies to enhance our security posture

Minimum Qualifications

• Candidate MUST HAVE a TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years experience cybersecurity.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership position.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
• Experience in conducting risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Desired Qualifications
