Financial AnalystLocation: San DiegoAmphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.).

Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally.

We have design, sales, and manufacturing locations globally and are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Finance team located in San Diego.

The Financial Analyst Manager will provide accurate P&L forecasts and help identify operating and material costs. The Financial Analyst will interact with the operations team frequently and work with all levels of the organization.
ResponsibilitiesCreate and analyze financial data (i.e.

budgets & income statement forecasts)Provide recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performanceUpdate management team with current month results to identify any forecast gapsDevelop financial models and tools to improve forecasting processWork with management team to guide and influence long team & strategic decision makingDrive process and policy development initiativesPrepare monthly and quarterly P&L and variances between forecast and actualInvestigate any material variance issuesSupport and audit semi annual physical inventory (May & November)Perform month end closing, including accrual, journal entries and account reconciliationsSupport corporate or divisional data collection & financial analysisAbility to work from Mexicali factory once per weekQualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting and analysisProficiency in excel and financial software applications (AX Dynamics preferred)Bachelors degree in finance or accountingExperience with financial forecasting, cost accounting and analysisBilingual in English and SpanishThe base salary range for this position is $104,811 $148,736 USD annually.

In determining rate of pay, Amphenol considers a variety of nondiscriminatory factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant industry experience, qualifications, skills, and education.

It would be rare for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a given role.
