    Job Description:
    Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Network Communications Engineer to join our team In this role you will get to support the operation and expansion of the new US Cybercommand's National Lab

    What You'll Be Doing:

    • Designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and access control lists (ACLs).
    • Troubleshooting network issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability for customers.
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions that meet customer requirements.
    • Providing guidance and mentorship to other network admins as needed.
    • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in network communications engineering

    What Required Skills You'll Bring:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • CCNP
    • TS/SCI with Poly
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in an engineering-related role, with a focus on design and implementation.
    • Strong experience with Cisco technologies, including routing, switching, and WAN technologies and Cisco Adaptive Security Manager
    • Knowledge of the following protocols and technologies:
    • EIGRP/OSPF/BGP
    • VPN/VTI/GRE
    • VRF/VPC
    • MPLS and pseudowire experience beneficial
    • Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls and access control lists (ACLs).
    • Experience with Type-1 crypto implementation is beneficial.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
    • Ability to meet with customers and break down requirements in order to develop time and cost efficient solutions.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with systems engineering and administration teams

    What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

    • Background/understanding in systems technologies such as Linux/Windows/virtual systems is a strong bonus

    Salary Range:
