    Member Duties :

    Service with NDA Philadelphia will vary from site to site Some members may serve at The Clay Studio where they will be assisting Art Teachers and working with children and adults; helping to cultivate and nurture the creativity that exists in all of us.

    Some members may serve at St. Edmond's Home for Children and serve children who have mental and physical disabilities.

    NDA members will assist Direct Support Professionals in helping the children during their day-to-day routine while also creating tailored support plans that honor the individuality of each child.

    Some members may serve at the Lutheran Settlement House where they will work with children and adults.

    Positions include working with children at a homeless shelter after the school day, working with adults at a computer lab, and assisting at a food pantry.
