Job Summary
This role is responsible for unloading products from trucks and breaking down pallets. Provides assistance to various warehouse positions as requested including sanitation selection inventory control etc. May be responsible for fueling washing and/or cleaning semi-trucks/trailers based on assigned distribution center.Unload products from trucks; breakdown pallets stack (lump) product on pallets organize products to be placed into appropriate warehouse racks/pick slots Move or otherwise handle cases boxes bags and/or pallets of dry groceries frozen foods dairy produce poultry fish beef pork tobacco related products as identified on order forms quantities specified Assist with sanitation duties include cleaning warehouse emptying garbage etc as assigned Responsible for fueling washing and/or cleaning semi-trucks/trailers based on assigned distribution center May assist checking product damage verifying accurate product quantities received according to purchase order PO pallet label May assist completing selection orders select products from warehouse racks/pick slots assemble palatalize shrink wrap produtcs/pallets customer orders label cases/pallets order labels timely accurate efficient manner Lift produccts weighing between 30-60 lbs frequently produccts weighing up to 75 lbs occasionally ensuring maintaining safe work environment Maintain clean safe work environment properly disposing of palatal boards wood chips trash etc ensuring spills cleaned quickly according safety guidelines May operate power industrial equipment long-tongued electric palat jack high-extender high-lift moving equipment walkers Ensure equipment good working order safety checklist required Report damaged product quality issues notify supervisor out-stock low volume prodcuts Participate rotation produccts move produccts dock areas perform other duties assigned Additional responsibilites may assigned necessary
