    Description

    Please Note:

    Employees will be required to report to their assigned office location at least 2 day per week for non-supervisory positions and 3 days per week for supervisory/managerial positions unless the position advertised is designated as a remote-only position.


    This position is located in the, Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Controller Division in the Accounting Analytics and Reporting Unit (AA&R).

    The position reports to the Director of AA&R unit who reports directly to the Vice President Controller (VP Controller).


    This unit is responsible for various financial and accounting reports that are prepared for EXIM management, other agencies, for government-wide financial reporting, and external private sector parties as well as international organizations.

    Reports and analysis include but are not limited to the financial statements, annual management report, Governmentwide Treasury Account Symbol (GTAS), Data Act reporting, Treasury report on receivables and reports submitted to international organizations such as the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).


    Duties include, but are not limited to:

    Ad-Hoc Reporting and Data Analysis:

    Serve as a functional expert on all OCFO-wide ad-hoc reporting initiatives, including reconciliation of EXIM's Fund Balance with U.S.

    Treasury, Governmentwide Treasury Account Symbol Adjustment Trial Balance System (GTAS) reporting, and Data Act. Perform testing, monitoring, and analysis of complex accounting transactions and data.

    Policy Development and Compliance:

    Develop and maintain agency policies, operating manuals, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) reflecting systems modifications and new procedures related to accounting and financial management.

    Ensure compliance with relevant legislative, regulatory, and accounting standards.

    Financial Systems Management and Oversight: Support senior management in managing EXIM's financial accounting systems, including identifying process issues, proposing new process structures for efficiency and accuracy, and ensuring compliance with federal laws and regulations.

    Conduct regular performance evaluations and respond to audit reviews.

    System Design and Improvement:
    Plan, design, revise, implement, and maintain complex financial accounting systems within the OCFO. Direct and provide expertise to a team involved in system design, development, testing, and deployment.

    Recommend policies and procedures to enhance EXIM financial systems in accordance with organizational and government-wide requirements, as well as balanced with system capabilities.
