Job summary
The Building Electrical Group is responsible for all building electrical systems including lighting and fire protectionWe design and build food production facilities Our building electrical team designs the electrical systems calculates power loads determines equipment sizes vets vendors sub-contractorsThe professional will have technical responsibility for scoping performing delivering multiple concurrent project assignments with responsibilities including but not limited to designing normal emergency standby power distribution systems executing duties on larger projects independently client contact lead engineer documenting calculations for the design maintaining project document organization managing time meeting commitments understanding Ohms Law AC DC electric magnetic fields power system theory vector math power factor symmetrical components capacitors inductors resonance designing low voltage systems creating plans schedules defining requirements reviewing scope with client producing bid documents procuring long lead light fixtures equipment observing construction assisting startup acting participating supporting department standard development researching materials best practices supporting talent growth interviewing hiring subordinate members handling complex issues advising subordinate team members providing coaching mentoring subordinate group when directed by supervisor
