    Job Summary:

    This team is responsible for providing production support and play mission-critical role of ensuring that our complex, multi-tenant application in a hybrid private/public cloud environment is healthy, monitored, and automated. We are made up of inquisitive, puzzle-solving technical experts who leverage an automation-first mindset to drive efficiencies and solve problems. Application Engineering Support is a global team and as such, enhanced communication and collaboration skills are paramount as we work closely with Infrastructure Operations and internal service organizations.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Troubleshoot our Wealth Management application alarms, trade transmission and batch failures within SLA, with the appropriate level of urgency.
    • Continually evaluate our mission-critical wealth management SaaS application with an emphasis on stability and performance and propose and deliver improvements to our production monitoring systems.
    • Responsible for accurate and timely communication of production issues.
    • Focus team on root cause analysis, pattern identification and continuous improvement in order to optimize application performance, resiliency and reliability.
    • Work with 3rd Party Custodians, Trading Partners, parallel Technology Teams, and Clients to document and follow escalation processes for file transmissions and other integrations.
    • Data modification using SQL Scripts.
    • Produce application metrics and SLA reports.
    • Participate in on call rotation, including some weekend support and hand-off of issues between onsite and offshore.
    • Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested.
    • As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in technical discipline (e.g. Computer science)
    • 3+ years of application production support experience
    • Demonstrated experience working with SQL Queries and data analysis.
    • A passion for automating away common tasks and processes.
    • Experience working in private or public cloud environments like AWS.
    • Experience working in Jira, Confluence, Splunk, and New Relic, CloudWatch or other APM tools.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Previous experience within a financial services or trading environment is a plus.
