The customer is a leading Aerospace company.Expected calibrations performed include, but are not limited to,
Calipers
Micrometers
Torque Wrenches
Dimensional Hard Gauging:
rings, plugs, threads, etc.
Bore Gauges
Indicators
In this role you will be part of a team that maintains the calibration program on-site at a key customer's facility:
Assist in equipment recall for customer equipment past due and coming due
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all calibration activities
Maintain all calibration program related documentation to meet customer and TRESCAL requirements
Ensures all calibration activities meet customer and TRESCAL traceability requirements
Prioritize workload to meet customer process needs
Maintain statuses of all activities to customer
Support customer audits as they relate to the calibration program
RequirementsAs a Calibration Technician Level 2 (Resident Professional) you must possess:
Military training or commercial calibrations experience (preferred).
Minimum of 2 years of experience calibrating test & measurement equipment (in a commercial or military calibration lab preferred)
Mechanical Calibration experience required
Very good organizational skills, meticulous with details
Strong communication skills including written, verbal and listening skills.
Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), Internet research, data entry, etc.
Experience interacting with customers in a courteous and professional manner and providing an excellent customer experience.
