    A highly established local Mechanical Company is looking to fill a Controls Engineer position. Excellent benefits, competitive compensation, and opportunities for professional development.

    This position works as a part of a team with other specialists at client or project job sites to ensure proper installation of controls systems, as well as provide diagnostic and repair services. Experience working with building automation systems and energy management systems. Understanding of mechanical systems: what they do and how they operate. Understanding of Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems. Niagara AX certification is strongly preferred. Experience with Honeywell products.

    Position Qualifications:

    • Must be able to read and interpret construction documents.
    • Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written.
    • Must be self-motivated, goal and results oriented, customer focused and efficient in fast paced environment.
    • Maintain high standards of quality with attention to detail.
    • The ability to work independently as well as on a project team.
    • The ability to work on strict deadlines without constant supervision.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum two (2) years in Programming Field; five (5) years preferred.
    • 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering/Technology or Electrical Engineering Technology is a plus.
    • Must have strong skillset of commercial HVAC products, installation, and mechanical understanding
    • Strong understanding of HVAC functions, ductwork modifications and design
    • Great communication skills with both clients, coworkers, and project managers.
    • Strong leadership skills and work ethic is a must
    • Strong analytical and logic skills with the ability to maintain a high degree of precision on detailed work
    • Must have a stable background/work history to be considered for this position
    • Tridium AX certification highly preferred.
    • The ability to use Microsoft Office products. (Excel, Visio, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
    • Experience with temperature control systems including Alerton, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Trane, Schneider, and Siemens is a plus.
    • Knowledge of BACnet, DDC, Niagara AX, ALC, Siemens, or Metasys.
    • Experience working with AutoCAD and PDF Software.
