    We seek a Part Time Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.


    Hours:

    • This is a Part Time role, 24 hours per week

    • Pharmacy Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm (lunch is 12:30pm – 1pm)

    • Will be working 2 days per week at Ypsilanti site & 1 day per week at Monroe site

    • Days to be worked are variable week to week as schedule / needs are determined but Mondays and Fridays are required


    Location:

    • HOME SITE IN YPSILANTI: 555 TOWNER ST SUITE 1120D YPSILANTI, MI 48198

    • MONROE SITE: 1003 S RAISINVILLE RD MONROE, MI 48161


    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff

    • Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist

    • Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies

    • Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders

    • Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records

    • Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements

    • Performs various clerical duties relating to the department

    • Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills

    • Assisting with inventory management

    • May be asked to provide coverage at other sites in the area as needed – would be within a 20-mile radius (would not be more than 30 – 45 minutes away)

    • Will be required to make local deliveries when needed within 10-mile radius (less than 10% of the time) – would use your own vehicle and will be reimbursed for mileage; would be delivering to residences and facilities

    • Other duties as assigned

    Required Qualifications:

    • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Michigan

    • 6+ months of previous pharmacy technician experience

    • Access to reliable transportation & valid US driver's license

    • Ability to cover other sites in the area as needed (within a 20-mile radius)

    • Ability to assist with occasional local deliveries when needed (less than 10% of the time, within a 10-mile radius, delivering to residences and facilities)

    • Ability to work 2 days per week at Ypsilanti site and 1 day per week at Monroe site (sites are about 40 minutes apart, availability on Mondays and Fridays is required)


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • National Pharmacy Technician Certification
