Our workforce of more than 25,000 has pre-eminent expertise in advanced aircraft design and production, modification and support, stealth technology and systems integration.
Lockheed Martin at Edwards AFB, CA F-35 aircraft is seeking a full-time Level 3 load/structures engineer in our flight science discipline engineering team.
The candidate will perform real time structural flight test monitoring as well as pre and post flight analysis and documentation.
This includes test plan development, pre-flight loads predictions, test card review against structural airframe limitations and clearances. Candidate will be responsible for tracking instrumentation issues and anomalies, coordinatinginstrumentation repairs and conducting pre-flight load predictions.This position involves significant teamwork and coordination with flight test co-workersin a variety of disciplines (pilots, mechanics, and inspectors, instrumentation, and datatechnicians), qualification or certification authority representatives and subject matter experts.
This job will require some off shift and weekend work. Extended hours may be required.A level 3 employee Typically has years of professional experience.
Must be a US Citizen.
This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Colorado Pay StatementPay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $82,200 - $157,500 .

(Washington state applicants only)Non-represented full-time employees:
accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.
Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay StatementPay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $94,500 - $178,000.
