    Position Summary:

    The Safety Program Manager for Professional Services leads the development of processes and project resources to support Insight Global's field technical services, especially for data center low-voltage installations. Reporting to the Corporate Senior Safety Manager, the successful candidate will have significant experience successfully planning the safety-related resources, skill sets, and documentation necessary to deliver customer projects. The Safety Program Manager coordinates with Sales staff in estimating and planning projects, as well as supporting Delivery leaders in the execution of those projects. The Safety Program Manager is an assertive and effective communicator who will present to customers and inspire confidence in the Company's safety systems. This position provides management, coordination, and technical expertise in all areas of safety, health, and environmental compliance.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Review new project opportunities and Statements of Work to determine safety risk and compliance responsibilities, including determining the necessary safety training, processes, documentation, and associated cost.
    • Based on project scope, determine safety training necessary for field technicians, method of delivering training, site safety management strategy, PPE, and travel requirements.
    • Perform Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW) assessments to determine whether technician candidates have the requisite skill sets.
    • Coordinate the delivery and tracking of training necessary to ensure technicians can work safely.
    • Train site delivery teams in how to perform risk assessments, inspections, track training, track incidents, and corrective actions.
    • Effectively communicate with customers and other project participants regarding the safety program.
    • Lead investigation of incidents and determine corrective actions.
    • Establish current& archived databases (on Origami) for all jobsite safety data, accidents, drug screens, PFT's, Near misses, SIF's.
    • Monitor projects in all States with travel required 10%-20% of the time.
    • Respond and reply to all OSHA related investigations and citations.

    Job Requirements:

    • 5+ years of safety leadership experience in electrical installations, communication networks, or construction industry.
    • Experience leading and coordinating activities of safety personnel across multiple sites simultaneously.
    • OSHA 500 Trainer Course certification.
    • NFPA 70E – Electrical Safety or equivalent certification.
    • Bachelor's degree in occupational health & safety or related field of study required.
    • Strong knowledge of OSHA and applicable federal and state safety regulations.
    • High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and professionalism.
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
    • Proficiency in safety data software.
    • Local to Atlanta, GA.

    Physical Demands:

    Work is performed both in office and field settings. Employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, climb, bend, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear. Employee may lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Employee will also engage in indoor and outdoor safety training that requires physical dexterity, balance, and fitness. Clear vision and depth perception are also necessary.

    In addition to physical requirements, employee must be sharp, focused, and alert when conducting his or her job duties and participating in employee safety trainings. This includes possessing the mental aptitude, cognition, concentration, and state of mind necessary to perform his or her job duties, with negligible distractions that could jeopardize employee's work productivity, quality of work, and safety to self and others.

    Travel Requirements:

    This position requires up to 20% travel (local, national).
