We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support general ledgers ensuring accuracy & integrity as well as consideration and compliance of IFRS principles and Amer corporate policy.
The Analyst will also ensure accurate month end close and SOX compliance.The Senior Analyst will support North America entities working closely with Global Business Service and the Business Controllers in maintaining the general ledger and ensuring it properly reflects the position of the company.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited toOversee the period end closing, including coordination and communication of the close schedule to key stakeholders as well as ensuring the accuracy of the reporting.
Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and identify opportunities for improvement.Assist in the implementation and monitoring of SOX controls.
Maintain accurate and complete reconciliations of key balance sheet accounts working closely with Business Controllers and the Global Business Service team to make sure current and forecasted balances accurately reflect the position of the Company.
Ensure the accounting policies and procedures are followed and implemented throughout the organization.Collaborate with internal and external auditors during quarterly reviews and year-end audits. Provide documentation and explanations for audit.
Support special projects and new tools roll outs as needed.
Work with cross-functional teams to enhance internal controls and mitigate risks. Provide recommendations for control improvements and efficiencies.
This role requires a bachelors degree in accounting or finance. We are seeking a candidate with 5-7 years in public accounting or similar accounting role. Individuals must demonstrate a strong understanding of IFRS and SOX requirements. Other qualifications include

Proficient computer skills, specifically with Excel, SAP and Oracle.
CPA preferred.
